What would you do if evidence that once existed was later denied to you in writing?

I ask this question not only for myself, but for all of us.

On the 11th of June 2025, following an incident at an ASDA store in Wembley Park (HA9), CCTV footage relating to my case was initially acknowledged, and later denied in writing.

I followed the legal process under the Data Protection Act 2018 and raised my concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Today, I am seeking to pursue this matter through the UK Courts, in which as a Claimant, the fee has to be paid, and this is an strategic point why big corporations wait until the the Claimant takes the initiative to take them to Court.

However, the reality is that access to justice often comes with significant financial barriers. Court fees and legal costs can exceed £10,000—an amount that prevents many individuals from standing up for their rights.
