Hi everyone, my name is Ulrike, Clarabel van Heerdens mum. I am a wedding and event florist. I have volunteered to do flowers for the Denbigh prom this year at Sul Lago Restaurant at Furzton lake. As you know, if you have visited the restaurant before, there are lots of artificial flowers. I contacted the school to hear if I could add some fresh floral touches to the bar, buffet, budvases for the little tables and flowers for around the base of the big artificial blossom tree. The other area that will benefit from flowers is the entrance porch outside to make it more special for students arriving. I have attached some photos of potential places to put some fresh flowers.

Unfortunately the school doesn’t have any budget for floral decorations and two weeks before the prom was not enough time to ask parents to give a donation via parent mail. Hence I created this go fund me page to help cover my costs. I will be volunteering my time and expertise and all the flowers will be bought at cost price from my wholesale Dutch flower market in Northampton. I have estimated the cost to be around £150, with which I would be able to create something really special. I would be grateful for any donation, however small it might be. Thank you. Ulrike
