Hi, My name is Marie Ward and for over 4 years I have been volunteering for a local dementia charity known as DEEDS (Dementia Engaged and Empowered Derry & Strabane). They offer a wide range of social activity programmes for people living with dementia and their families (carers) living in the Derry/Strabane District Council. Their aim is to keep people living with dementia well for longer in the community. Any money raised will support the amazing work that they do.

This fundraising walk is being held on Sunday 11th October 2026 at 11.00 a.m. (registration is open at 10.15 a.m.) starting at Ebrington Square, Waterside, Derry-Londonderry and walking around the Craigavon and Peace bridges. Donations are also welcome on the day. Please come and join me if you can.
