The Unforgettable Foundation is raising funds for 'Dementia Community' - a not-for-profit community benefit society established in 2021 to promote and develop learning opportunities for people involved in researching and delivering dementia care in all settings.

The specific goal of this fundraising campaign is to support Dementia Community's WEBINAR PROGRAMME for 2026.

Dementia Community's webinars take place online (on zoom) on a regular basis. On average, Dementia Community hosts a webinar twice per month. The webinars are focused on topical issues in dementia care and engage subject experts, many of whom are working collaboratively with people with lived experience of dementia, and are attended by delegates representing a multitude of disciplines. The webinar programme is well supported, attendance numbers frequently exceed 100 and engagement in the sessions is positive and participative.

The webinar programme is curated by Beth Britton, herself a former carer for her father who lived with vascular dementia for 19 years. Beth supports 'Dementia Community' with external communications and is a pivotal member of the core team.

'Dementia Community' offers webinars free of charge to ensure that these learning opportunities are accessible to all people. This inclusive approach aligns with the values of the Unforgettable Foundation, therefore the Foundation is raising funds to ensure that this excellent webinar programme can be continued.

All individual donations received as a result of this go-fund-me campaign will be added together and awarded as a grant to 'Dementia Community' specifically for the purpose of supporting the webinars.
