Our organization will be matching the first $10,000 received. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will be matched in its entirety.
The brothers of Zeta Chapter commit ourselves to lives of excellence, and as such we condemn the actions of those who perpetuate hate, bigotry, and violence. We expect and encourage our brothers and our community to educate themselves and use their voices to make a difference in this time of strife.
We believe that our Chapter must serve as an agent of change, particularly change to a system that has time and time again oppressed and excluded black people and other people of color. We owe it to ourselves and to our fellow man to create a culture in which everyone is valued and judged not on the color of their skin, but the content of their character.
In order to demonstrate these beliefs and show our support for those suffering in our community, the brothers of Zeta will be donating individually and fundraising for the black lives matter movement on their social media. Zeta Chapter will be matching the first $10,000 received, so please donate however much you are able. Only together can we stand up to end the injustice.
The money raised through this fundraiser and our donation matching will be split equally and donated to the NAACP Cleveland Branch, the Black Lives Matter National Organization, and American Civil Liberties Union.
