Bring Hope to Expectant Parents Facing an Unplanned Pregnancy
Every day, countless men and women find themselves in the middle of an unplanned pregnancy. They feel scared, confused, overwhelmed and unsure of their future. Many lack the support and encouragement they need to keep their baby. In those vulnerable moments, even the smallest act of compassion can bring hope where there is fear, emboldening parents to choose life.
That’s why our pro-life ministry, Unplanned Stories , started the Letters of Hope initiative.
These aren’t just letters. They are heartfelt words written by passionate pro-lifers who believe in speaking life and encouragement over parents who are walking through these unexpected journeys. Each letter reminds moms and dads that they are seen, loved and not alone. It tells them that even in uncertainty, there is hope and a future for both them and their baby.
We send these letters, first and foremost, to parents who connect with our ministry. We also send them to our partner organizations — churches, maternity homes, pregnancy resource centers and other pro-life groups — that are on the frontlines of serving expectant parents.
As of April 2026, we have partnered with 21 maternity homes, pregnancy resource centers, and other pro-life organizations that are receiving letters. We have partnered with 17 groups that are sending letters and have over 200 pro-lifers writing letters. We've delivered 370+ letters to expectant parents nationwide.
When a mom or dad receives a Letter of Hope at just the right time, it can bring reassurance and even the strength they need to keep choosing life.
Take Shariah, for example, a teen mom whose life has been transformed by the power of those letters. She was kicked out of her home for not getting an abortion. In her moment of crisis, she connected with our ministry and received practical support that helped her navigate her pregnancy. Not only was she connected to local resources and received contributions toward her baby registry, but Shariah was gifted with heartfelt handwritten letters that gave her hope. Today, she is a mom to a beautiful 1-year-old girl, is in safe housing, has a stable job, and recently obtained her GED certificate.

Shipping and mailing costs add up quickly. To continue sending these letters across the country, we are raising $1,000. This amount will cover the shipping supplies and delivery costs that make this outreach possible.
