Delilah's Journey

This fundraiser is for Delilah, Rosanna and Brett, to help support the family with transportation to and from hospital visits and all monies are set up to Rosanna and all funds will be transferred directly to her.

Delilah's journey - On the 30th July 2024 our beautiful brave Delilah was diagnosed with Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) at just the age of 2 years old.
This is a extremely rare type of cancer - about 1 in 200,000 children have this condition and there are about 50 new cases in the UK each year.
Delilah was admitted to Great North children's hospital oncology ward where Delilah began her treatment journey. After a long hard battle she fought every step of the way and on 30th August 2025 Delilah rang the bell.

On the 24th February 2026 we recieved the news we had all been dreading - Delilah's LCH had reactivated in multiple area - some in very dangerous places, meaning she had to begin treatment again immediately. This time the treatment will be longer and more aggressive, particularly over the first 6 months. Not only was this the only devastating news we recieved Delilah was also diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus (DI).

Delilah has now started chemotherapy and steroids' for her LCH and hormone replacement therapy to help with her diagnosis of DI, If this wasn't enough to comprehend during this difficult time on the way to the hospital back to visit Delilah unfortunately Rosanna (Delilah's mum) was in a car crash which had resulted in no transportation for the family to travel back and forth to receive treatment.

We are raising as much money as possible to help Delilah and her family throughout this very difficult time.
