Delaware Water Gap Fire Dept Building Fund
Tax deductible
The Delaware Water Gap Chemical & Hose Company is asking for your help! The department is currently seeking donations to assist with the deteriorating conditions of the currant fire hall. Over the last couple years our current building has been in need of some major repairs. The floor in our banquet hall has started to peel and deteriorate due to its age. The ceiling in the banquet hall is also in need of repairs as it has been damaged from water leaking through the roof. The kitchen which is used for our monthly meals and occasional gatherings is very outdated with appliances that no longer work. The plumbing in the building has also taken a turn for the worse as new leaks are appearing on a regular basis. The department is comprised by 100% volunteers. The men and women serving spend countless hours training and responding to emergencies throughout the borough. With the lack of funds it has made it extremely difficult to provide the proper upkeep to the building. The donations received will be greatly appreciated by the members and the community. If you are also interested the department is selling T-Shirts which can be picked up at the station. For more please visit our Facebook Page @ Delaware Water Gap Fire Department or DWGFD26
