Hi I'm Paul Johnson a local resident in Tavistock. When I was a First Responder with the Ambulance Service, myself and other responders raised money to fund some local 24hr 365 public accessible Defibrillators in the community. Currently I look after 6 soon to be 7 Defibrillators in the area. These devices save lives and have saved lives. The upkeep and maintenance can be costly with pads at £80, Batteries at £300, external boxes at £500 and new units at £1000. The money will go towards the replacements and depending on how much is raised, new units around the community.
