Back in 2022, thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community, we raised funds to install a secure cabinet at The Volunteer Pub in Darcy Lever for a defibrillator donated by Minutes Matter. Since then, I have routinely checked and updated the device to ensure it is always ready to respond in an emergency.

Earlier this year, the management team at The Volunteer kindly funded the replacement of the expired pads — support we are truly grateful for. Now, the defibrillator needs a new battery so it can continue to be a vital safety lifeline for anyone who may need it in the future.

To keep this defibrillator fully operational and “emergency-ready”, we need to raise £280. Minutes Matter is a community-driven charity, and we rely on the kindness and support of people like you to ensure lifesaving equipment remains available, accessible, and properly maintained.
