Our Story

My name is Steve, and together with my wife and child we are building our dream of an off-grid homestead. As a 100% disabled Air Force combat veteran, my goal has always been to provide my family with a simple, sustainable life powered by solar, rainwater catchment, and our own hard work. We are living in a converted school bus, registered as a motorhome, while we build our home from the ground up.

Unfortunately, our neighbors have filed a lawsuit against us, claiming we aren’t building fast enough, amongst other things and we are now facing unexpected legal fees just to defend our right to live on and build our land.
