Defend The Win on Griffith St Hotel

After winning a Superior Court decision in May overturning the zoning approval for the controversial Griffith Street Hotel project in Davidson, the plaintiffs (parties against the hotel) are now forced to fund an appeal fight against deep pocketed developers pushing this misplaced project.  This comes after the Town of Davidson admitted breaking two separate procedures of its own planning ordinance, which is a violation of North Carolina state law.

After the successful efforts to help with the original legal action, this separate GoFundMe for $10,000 will go to support defending that win for citizens.

All funds raised will be used for the legal expenses required to fight the appeal.  Luke Charde, one of the Plaintiffs, is withdrawing funds from this GoFundMe and depositing them in the bank account established exclusively for the payment of these legal fees.
