Hobart, IN residents are facing a major challenges, the proposed construction of multiple High Industrial Hyper Scale Data Centers on 61st & Arizona. These Hyper Scale Data Centers are trying to build right next to our homes, schools, and neighborhoods. These industrial sprawls bring heavy noise pollution, enormous power consumption, and high water usage that threaten our beautiful community’s peace, health, and environment.

While we believe in smart, responsible growth for Hobart, IN consistent to the 2040 Comprehensive Plan, we do not believe that high industrial sprawls belong in M-1 Light Industrial areas.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to begin covering (updated previously from $10,000):

-Legal and expert fees to help residents understand and respond to city decisions

-Billboards and large signs to spread awareness and inform more residents

Every dollar helps us ensure that Hobart’s voice is heard loud and clear before irreversible decisions are made and regrets occur.

This is not about stopping progress, bit it’s about protecting the safety, health, and character of our hometown. Together, we can hold our Hobart Mayor, City Council and City Planner who are the decision-makers in our city accountable and to stand up for a sustainable future for our children and neighbors.
