Defend Golden Hill: Stop 2935 'A' Street Project

Preserve Greater Golden Hill is a community organization dedicated to protecting the unique character and safety of our neighborhood. We are coming together to challenge the proposed 8-story development at 2935 'A' Street, which raises serious concerns about child safety, increased traffic, and fire risks. Our neighborhood has always been a place where families feel secure and connected, and we believe this project threatens the qualities that make our community special. We want affordable Smart Growth developments that fit into the neighborhood. This situation is not unique to Golden Hill, other communities like Pt. Loma, Mission Hills, Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach are all seeing the same issue. These developers are destroying the fabric of our neighborhoods and not addressing the real need for affordable housing.

With the help of our attorneys, we are preparing to file a lawsuit the week of September 29th to stop the development and ensure that the voices of residents are heard. The funds raised will go directly toward legal fees, court costs, and expert witnesses needed to present a strong case. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us protect our neighborhood and stand up for responsible development.
