Defend Free Speech: Support Legal Battle Costs

I have a YouTube channel where I explain what happened in certain private aircraft plane crashes. In this case I reported on a tragic death of a Father and Son, who had been encouraged to attempt a takeoff in a very small aircraft which was obviously too heavy to fly. My report indicated that it was too hot, they were too heavy, and the runway was too short. The owner of the aircraft (the seller) sued me for defamation, and found a way to allegedly serve me with litigation via "social media." Charles Cook initially obtained a $1.2 Million dollar default judgment in the state of Texas, and I appealed the decision on the basis of improper service, no evidence of damage, and a citizens right to free speech under the First Amendment of the US Constitution. Total legal fee's billed so far to date are $45,816.80 in order to fight this potentially precedent setting judgment. Our future General Aviation safety rests in our ability to discuss and offer opinions on accidents as they happen. The Texas Court of Appeals ruled in my favor and stated that "there was error in the trial court's judgment" and reversed the ruling. The opposing party has since submitted their request to close this case, and not pursue it any longer. My costs and 3 year fight for our freedoms as citizens, and the memory of those two unknowing victims are worth it for all of us as a community. Any support in my recovery from these costs is greatly appreciated. In America, we have a justice system and it does work, it is just extremely expensive for a private citizen to obtain it.
