We are disappointed to learn FriscoChronicles.com, The Original Frisco Whistleblower, is under legal fire for doing what they’ve always done: shining a light on the truth and holding local power accountable.

An announcement was posted Monday, June 9, 2025, through the Frisco Chronicles Whistleblower Facebook Page, that recently their attorney, Noskin Law Firm, PLLC received a copy of legal documents that were filed in Denton County District Court. The legal documents seek to compel the disclosure of individual(s) who contribute to their page. Filed under Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 202, this legal maneuver aims to pierce the veil of anonymity that protects citizens who speak out on matters of public concern.

FriscoChronicles will respond to this filing through the proper legal channels—not in the court of public opinion—but we want our community to know: We are not backing down.

It is important that we stand together as a community to defend FriscoChronicles, and the principle that anonymous civic participation is essential to a healthy democracy.
