The sudden passing of Thomas Aciz has left his family, friends and all of those whose lives he enriched in a state of shock. His loved ones have found great comfort in knowing they are not alone. Your messages, prayers and kind wishes have not gone unseen — and we thank you for each and every single one.

However, those who know Tommy best, know he would rather us celebrate his life rather than mourn his death.

The best way to do that is by doing some good to honor him.

Tommy was no stranger to donating to charities. In addition to his philanthropic efforts, he was also known for helping on a personal level, whether it was by bringing food to homeless people or generously giving money right out of his pocket to those in need.

In an effort to transform this sad time into a hopeful one, the Aciz family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who would like to remember him do so by donating to the Secaucus Emergency Fund. Tommy most certainly would have wanted nothing more than to support his community — and beloved hometown.
