Volunteering in Nakuru, Kenya

Hi my name is Natalya, I’m 17 years old from the New Forest. I am studying at Barton Pevril College and have been given an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Nakuru, Kenya in October 2025. On this trip I will be teaching in a school, coaching sports and building underdeveloped schools. I believe this project will help me grow as a person, increase my confidence and learn vital life skills. By volunteering at the local schools, I will help enhance students educational experiences, provide support and resources and share my knowledge and skills that can inspire and benefit the children. I am excited to learn about the Kenyan culture and history as well as helping the local communities.
