Declan's Coast to Coast Cycle Challange

Get ready to cheer on Declan Jordan, a dedicated and experienced cyclist from Coolboy, Co. Wicklow, as he takes on an epic challenge like no other – the Daylight Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge.

On June 21st, 2025 – the longest day of the year- Declan will set off at sunrise from scenic Courtown Harbour, Co. Wexford, racing the sun across the country in an incredible 345km journey. With the stunning Irish Sea at his back and fellow Gorey cycling club member Paula Mulvey riding alongside him, the mission is clear: reach Achill Harbour, Co. Mayo before the sunsets into the Atlantic Ocean.

Its not just a ride – It’s a race against nature, endurance, and time. Will they beat the setting sun? Follow their journey and be part of this thrilling cross-country adventure!
