Decker O'Steen Eagle Scout Project

My name is Decker O’Steen. I am an alumni of Grace Cooperative Preschool, and I am reaching out to kindly ask for donations for my Eagle Scout Project, which will be building a race-car track play-feature for the Grace playground in place of the aging water-pump feature. We begin demolition in May and need these funds to begin construction in late May and early June.

I was lucky to come across this amazing opportunity when Ms. Joy introduced it to me about a year ago. With your help, I hope to reach a fundraising goal of $1,500.00 for the project expenses in order to make this new playground feature possible. Every donation given is a massive help that I would greatly appreciate.

I first started at Grace at age 4 in 2007, and I spent 2 amazing years learning some of the best skills I cherish to this day, including teamwork, sharing, cooperation, asking for help, and of course, how to give help. I had a brilliant experience with my teachers Ms Marlene, Ms Charie, Ms Meg, and Ms Lavinia. I also had a blast when my parents got to go to school with me during their co-op shifts. That was awesome!

Roughly 14 years since, not only did my 3 younger brothers also attend Grace, but so have my 3 cousins, the youngest of which is now in her final year there. Every year we got to be a part of the Grace Community meant so much to me and my family.

I love Grace Cooperative Preschool, and I would very much love to do this project as a thank you for all that it has done for me and for my family. And with your help, I can make this happen.
