Hello everyone,

My name is Eimear Browne and I am fundraiser in aid of Croghan Community Projects Group's amenity area at Croghan Community Cafe.

The event is “Deck Chair Trek” at the end of October ( Fri Oct 24th-Monday 27th- Bank Holiday weekend).

I am going to walk from Croghan, Co Roscommon to Rosses Point, Co Sligo ( with a deck chair!!)…..

‍♀️ 60km walk

‍♀️ 60 metre Swim in the sea at Rosses Point

60 km Cycle home to Croghan.

I am planning traditional music sessions en route in:

The Mayfly Inn in Ballinafad - 24/10/25 @ 9.30pm

McDermott’s in Castlebaldwin - 25/10/25 @ 12 noon - 2pm

Connolly’s Bar in Collooney - 25/10/25 @ 9.30pm

Harp Tavern in Sligo Town - 26/10/25 @ 9.30pm

and returning to Croghan Bar in Croghan - 27/10/25 @ 7pm and 2 swims/dips en-route over the weekend, @ lough Arrow (24/10/25) and @ Rosses point (27/10/25)

Funds raised will go towards the development of a community amenity area.

I feel this amenity area will be of benefit to our community for now and future generations.
