Decatur's Habitat for Humanity Homes

Decatur's Area Habitat for Humanity invites you, people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need. Any donations will make an impact this veteran's build for the Waterman's project greatly and our organization.

Over the past 30 years, our non-profit organization has helped people
in the Macon Decatur community build over 64 homes, and given families the ability to afford a non-interest mortgage through our organization. Now, Decatur Area Habitat for Humanity NEEDS your help and support to fund this veteran's build for the Waterman family. 

The Waterman family, AL, a U.S Air Force Veteran, his wife Xin, and son Zhao have been volunteering and partnering with Decatur Area Habitat for Humanity since 2008. They have put in twice the amount of sweat equity to build a place they can call home and have been selected to be Habitat homeowners in 2016. We want to help the Watermans have a place they can call home and our organization will greatly appreciate any donations to help fund this project.

Other ways you can help Habitat for Humanity:

Donate your unwanted furniture, books, art, house improvement, paints, building supplies, lights, flooring, and tools to our Restore shop! All proceeds from the Restore shop will go towards our housing projects and supports our efforts to give families in Decatur homes.
