Hi Friends,
Recently, I helped Debra White relocate to Richmond, Virginia. We traveled across the country from California to her new home with her lifetime friend, Bob. The trip was essential but incredibly expensive. I had raised some funds in advance of the trip, $3200, but the entire trip was likely over $12,000. I shared the expenses with Brian Zimnitsky, another long-time friend of Debra's.
I felt the best way to ask for contributions was to set up this fund to let everyone see the costs and how much has been raised in real-time.
My costs were over $6,500:
$950: Camping/Motels
$382: Gas (Brian paid for most of the gas)
$285: Groceries
$2,188: Medical equipment: Portable Oxygen Concentrator and PulseOx Meter
$412: RV Supplies (Sleeping great, storage containers, cleaning, extension cords, etc.)
$780: My travel arrangements (flights, ground transportation, etc.)
$1,350: RV Rental
$187: RV travel expenses
There were more, but these represent the most pressing ones I would like to pay off on my credit card.
