Hi! I’m Pam Keith and we lost my 57 year old brother on 11/4/23. Darin had been sick and in and out of hospitals for the past several years. His wife, Debra took really good care of him throughout the years. Darin recently had seizures and had to be put on a ventilator and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. During this time Debra didn’t leave his side, but instead brought her work laptop with her and worked the entire time she was with him and was able to stay caught up with her work duties. She worked for an independent insurance agency in Gulf Shores. As the days progressed she continued to be at his side and continued to work. Darin was released from the hospital and subsequently placed on hospice care. She received an email from her employer stating they were terminating her in 2 weeks. She lost her income, her medical insurance and any sense of security they had. This caused undue stress on an already stressful situation for her and my brother. I’m asking if anyone can help her out in any way to please consider helping. She takes care of her elderly mother who lives with her and is also on hospice. She also helps care for her 2 grandchildren one of which is special needs. If anyone deserves help or a break it is my sweet sister in law. Any amount or even prayers would be greatly appreciated.
