Deborah's Path to Recovery: Your Support Matters
Donation protected
Hey all, Deborah and I were in a pretty severe car accident over my birthday week on January 4th, 2025. Deborah and I were on our way to Colorado for my birthday weekend. We underestimated the winter storm coming in, hit black ice, and rolled the vehicle multiple times before coming to a stop. I'm okay, but Deb is currently in the SICU at KU Med. She suffered a pretty serious C5 neck fracture that required her to have neck surgery, and she'll be out of commission for several months. I normally don't ask for help, but in this case, I can't find a person more deserving. I'm starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds to purchase Deborah a decent used car for when she's able to get back on the road again. This will be several months down the road, and anything helps this will also be used to help pay for daycare cost for her son and transportation. Deb is the love of my life, and as many of you know, she is the most caring, loving, and supportive person who would move heaven and earth to help a friend. Deborah has a lot of things on her plate with this injury, and I'm just trying to make wondering how she'll see her son after recovering not one of them. Again, there is no pressure to donate, and this is something I normally wouldn't do, but I've learned sometimes you can't do it all on your own.
Thanks all in advance, and if you have any questions about Deb, feel free to reach out. She has loved hearing from everyone.
