My mama fell ill August 25th. By the end of that week she was rushed to the ER where it was discovered she needed emergency surgery for a blood clot in her main artery to her colon and kidneys. Her first surgery stabilized her however they left her open to go in days later to finish what they had started. However after her second procedure, it was discovered she had a second blood clot in the portal vein to her liver. They struggled to get her started on dialysis, but the infection had done taken its toll on her body, and her liver was shutting down. She fought for days but ultimately passed away last night. we are devastated and do not have the financial means for the unexpected loss. My parents have been on fixed income, and I had just finally started my new job last week, after being in school for the past year. I have been off this whole week to be by her side every day.
