Late at night on April 19th Deaton Gutierrez was involved in a horrible accident which resulted in him being drug alongside of car and eventually falling from the car. He was found seizing in the street by someone taking a walk, the man who found him helped him to his apartment and from there he was taken to a near by hospital in Kyle, Texas. upon arrival he was immediately taken in a Life Flight helicopter to Austin, Texas for emergency Brain Surgery. His injuries include multiple skull fractures along with brain bleeding. The surgery went well and he is surprisingly already awake but medical bills are stacking up quickly due to not having any insurance.
most people who meet Deaton meet him at a skatepark where he is skating as loose and fast as possible, and trying to get as high as he can. always with a smile on his face and drenched in sweat. if hes not at the skatepark hes probably at a swimming hole in dripping springs hanging out with friends having a good time. We want that deaton back, and any money raised will go directly to helping him and his family pay for medical bills and rehab once hes out of the hospital.
Without your help Deatons road to recovery will be an even longer and more stressful one full of worry even harder times.
