Dean & Tam Childs Flood Recovery

Hi, I’m Jill (Dean’s sister)

 

I’ve set up this page as a way to help Dean, Tam & the kids rebuild their lives after the devastating flood at Coraki.

 

Like so many others that have been impacted by this unprecedented flood they have lost almost everything. The water rose so quickly there wasn’t time to grab much more than a few sentimental items, some clothes & leave the house not knowing just how far the water would rise.

 

They both worked tirelessly in the community during this crisis (Dean - Police & Tam - Evacuation Centre) Anyone who knows these two personally - knows they would do anything to help anyone, especially in their time of need.

   

 

The flood water ended up coming through their house around knee deep & even higher in the yard & sheds. The clean up is well on the way to being done, however the road to recovery is long.
