Hi, my name is Erin hickey and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my brother Sean , his wife Randi and their 1 year old daughter Ryleigh. My brother is a construction worker but has been out of work since last winter, he was laid off due to the weather. And right before he was set to go back to work he started to become ill, which prevented him going back to work. My sister-in law was working with the baby but then my brothers illness progressed rapidly and she couldn’t work because she had to take care of my brother and the baby. He has been in and out of the hospital, and has had every test under the sun done and was diagnosed with a rare disease called GBS syndrome. GBS syndrome is when your immune system starts to attack your nerves and he can’t walk, he has been in excruciating pain, and is soon to start physical therapy but has a very long road ahead of him. He is not one to ask for help typically but they have gone through most of their savings and they need help with all bills, because they are currently left with limited options.
