London Marathon 2026 – Please Read & Share ✨
As many of you in Rotherham know, I’m currently involved in an ongoing domestic abuse case.
Domestic abuse is something that destroys lives – emotionally, physically, and mentally.
It’s something no one should have to face alone.
Impact on children:Domestic abuse can have a significant impact on children, with 62% of children living with domestic abuse being directly harmed by the perpetrator, in addition to the harm caused by witnessing the abuse
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to raise awareness and funds for Rotherham Women’s Refuge, who provide support to women and children escaping abuse.
The money raised will also go directly to women who are in their first week of fleeing – helping cover essentials and access to the therapy they need to begin healing.
Resources and funding for victims in Rotherham are heartbreakingly low.
Every single penny will help a woman and her children to escape, survive, and rebuild. As that first week is absolutely critical.
Some people think I’m crazy for doing this while my own case is still going on – but this is exactly why I have to do it.
It’s for my own mental health, and for every other woman suffering in silence. I want my journey to inspire other survivors to stand up, speak out, and start living again.
We all deserve justice. We all deserve peace.
Domestic abuse has changed my life. It’s changed who I am – not just for me, but for my family too.
I’m doing this to help past victims find their voices, and to stop abusers from hurting the next ones in line.
I hope one day I’ll get the justice I deserve. But until then, I’ll keep fighting – for my children, other children, other survivors, and the ones still trapped.
I was meant to run the London Marathon this year – but I was laughed at, Pulled down. And was I’d never do it.
And under the weight of what I was going through, I didn’t.
But now – I’m stronger. And I am doing it.
For the pain I’ve carried, and for those still carrying theirs.
If you’re struggling and reading this – you are strong enough. You can stand up.
And my inbox is always open.
please always check Clare’s law- it saves my life
see you at the finish line ✨
