On June 7th, 2019 the Kline family received the scary news that a mass was found in Dylan's chest behind the lung next to his spine. This finding sent Dylan to Nationwide Children's Hospital to be admitted and began the whirlwind of testing that went on for almost a week. The testing confirmed that he had a rare cancer for his age called Neuroblastoma. With the additional testing they were able to confirm that the cancer cells had spread to several areas on his spine, pelvis and a couple spots in his skull. The doctors all recommended getting treatment started ASAP. The Kline family and doctors have discussed a treatment plan that will take between 16-18 months. He started his first round of Chemotherapy Monday, June 17th and completed it on Friday, June 21st. He was able to get discharged home Saturday, June 22nd. He did well with this first round until he spiked a fever on Wednesday, June 26th that landed us back in the hospital for a couple days. He got home yesterday and is enjoying being home. He has a great attitude and is the
