Hi! I’m Aylin and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Argentina and arrived to this country in hopes of achieving my goals and wishes, like every immigrant. Soon enough I realize I was actually escaping from the reality of my life: a history of psychological and sexual abuse that I faced throughout 17 years of life. The worst thing was to realize that the people who was suppose to protect me and loved me the most didn't do it.

Being here made me open my eyes to all the suffering that I went through and completely overwhelmed me. It was too many years and events to process all of the sudden. Going back to Argentina and have to live among my aggressors is my biggest fear. This led me to a sever depression and C-PTSD.

In this state of mind I didn't make the best decisions so I ended up unemployed and homeless. Luckily I'm receiving enough help to live one day at the time and take care of myself. That is why I decided to stay in the country and seek for The American Dream. In order to do it I need to raise money so I can afford a lawyer that can help me start a new life here.

I've been protecting myself and haven't ask for anything to anyone my whole life. Today I'm asking for your help. Even a simple share would help to reach more people.
