Lake Windcrest Flagpoles

For years, many of us Lake Windcrest residents have been attempting to install 2, 25-foot, lighted Flagpoles at each of the 3 entrances to our community. Procrastination is not a word I am fond of. I am passionate about the American Flag and all that it stands for, and mostly for my gratitude for the millions of people that have defended it. The servicemen, policemen, firemen, public servants that have helped keep us stay safe for hundreds of years are deserving of this precious tribute. Just ask a Veteran how great they feel every time they see Old Glory flying. They know they had a part in keeping IT raised. We lose 557 WWII Vets a day, not to mention the other war Veterans. Let's get these Flags and poles up before we lose any more. Veterans Day, 2014, is the goal date. Thank you all for your generosity, thus far.
