Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that emphasizes the true power of generosity within our world. It is a time where we come together, hand in hand, to uplift causes near and dear to our hearts and make everlasting impacts on our communities. This year, the students here at the TCU & UNTHSC School of Medicine invite you to join us in supporting one of our closest friends and colleagues, Sam Sayed, in his cause, Dayna’s Footprints.
Dayna’s Footprints is a non-profit organization aimed at buying name brand shoes for underprivileged students. Sam and his brother Sharif created this foundation to honor Dayna Sayed, their sister, who worked all summer to buy her younger brothers their first pairs of expensive shoes shortly before her death. The organization’s mission is to combat learning inequity by providing students shoes to wear proudly, subsequently increasing students’ self-esteem and enthusiasm for attending school.
All donations made to Dayna's Footprints within the 24-hr window of Giving Tuesday will go 100% to the cause, with 0 surcharges or overhead whatsoever. We encourage you to spread the word and wait to help us make the biggest impact possible on this amazing holiday! Hope to see you there!
