The Day of Syn society, established 1964. In Dymchurch, Kent, is a historic bi-annual event.

‍☠️ A Pirates and Smugglers family event based on Russell Thorndike's books Dr Syn, aka the Scarecrow of Romney marsh.

Join us on the 29th - 31st bank holiday August 2026 in and around the town of Dymchurch, Kent, for our 62nd Day of Syn weekend.

Every penny donated is going towards the events costs with everything from insurance, marketing, printing, entertainment. We need donations so please do give what you can to make this a huge success for the village.
