Davina's cancer treatment

Hey there, my name is Sarah and I organized this in the hopes that I can help my cousin Davina, in her fight against metastatic cancer.

Around May of 2022, Davina had an eye irritation on her right eye and a swollen on that same side of her face. She went to see an ophtalmologist surgeon who treated for what they thought it was an eye inflammation. Unfortunately, the steroid masked the bigger problem and it kept growing and it wasn't getting better.

Feb of this year, Davina met with another Dr to get a second opinion and two days later she had biopsy done to remove what they found to be a rare B-cell lymphoma in the orbit of the eye. And the end of the month Davina had a PET CT scan to see if cancer had spread.

Regrettably, we have received the news that the cancer has spread as metastatic disease. This type of cancer is uncommon, rare and she will have to do a round 6 rounds of chemotherapy.

Fortunately, Davina already started the first round of chemo and is responding really fast to the treatment. The tumors have shrunk so much but she still has to finish the treatment.

If you are lucky to have met Davina, you know that she is one of the most selfless, kind, care and loving person. She has a passion for helping other without even knowing them. She a therapist who helps mainly children and young adults in the autism spectrum. She is just an angel in so many ways.

My love and appreciation for my cousin Davina is greater than what she can ever know. With your help, I’m hoping to make this stressful situation a little easier for her to manage and cover the extra costs that she will have along the way.
