Davide Goes to Malawi – A Journey of Heart and Hope.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve believed in the power of small actions to create big change. Growing up, I didn’t just want to talk about making the world a better place—I wanted to live that commitment, even though I’m just one small person in this big world.

This August 2025, I’m returning to Malawi for my second volunteer mission in Balaka, — a district in the Southern Region. My first trip there in 2014 changed my life in ways I still struggle to put into words. It opened my eyes, reshaped my values, and taught me how much we can learn from and give to one another when we show up with humility and purpose.

This time, I’m not going back just to give—I’m going to grow, to serve, and to walk side by side with the people I’ll meet. And I’m asking for your help to make that possible.

I’m not raising money to bring over secondhand goods that we no longer use in our part of the world. Instead, I want to support the local economy in Malawi. With your donations, I’ll purchase food, hygiene essentials, toys for children, and other basic needs directly from local markets. These items will be distributed during the mission in kindergartens, prisons, villages, and other communities in need.

In this way, we’ll make a double impact: giving immediate support to those who need it most, while also helping local Malawian businesses and workers thrive.
