My nephew, David Willmert and his wife, Megan Cork were vacationing in Florida this week with their (4) parents and grandmother. David developed some severe symptoms and was unable to walk.

He was admitted to the AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, FL and has been diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. Guillian-Barre is a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves.

He is currently in ICU receiving special blood treatments, unable to talk or move his arms and legs. When he is out of ICU, his doctor anticipates he will need to be moved to a rehab facility in Florida for at least a month for physical therapy.

They live and work in Las Vegas, but Megan will stay by his side in Florida until they are able to return to Las Vegas.

First, we need lots and lots of prayers!

Second, we need to raise money so David and Megan don’t have to worry about finances and they can focus on David's journey ahead.
