Hi everyone.
On March 2nd 2025, my beloved son David had a devastating haemorrhagic stroke which has left him with serious mobility challenges.
In particular he has very little movement in in his left leg and left arm and is still unable to stand without help.
He has been in hospital continuously since the stroke and the NHS have been offering him amazing care.
We as a family have also been doing all we can to support David and he has been working so hard to build his strength and learn to walk again.
We hope to get David extra physiotherapy at a special unit in the near future and are asking for any help you can offer to enable us to pay for sessions which are currently £80 per session plus transport.
It is likely that the more sessions he attends, the more chance he will have of walking again and regaining a good level of independence in the future.
I'm reaching out to ask your help in funding this treatment.
We will totally understand if you feel unable to contribute but every little will help him and we believe that he can overcome this very difficult time and build a new and happy life going forwards. Thanks so much. Wendy, David's Mum
