It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of David Robert Maurice Brown on October 22, 2023. Beloved father to Olivia Brown, Dear husband of Angel Brown, biological son to Deborah Brown, cherished son of Glenda Brown and Micheal James, treasured brother of Denise, Justin, Debra, and Allan, and loved grandson to Dolores and Sidney Brown. He will be forever missed by his cousins, many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
With his loud laugh, quirky jokes and caring nature, Dave was always there to uplift those around him, often putting the needs of others in front of his own. He worked hard to overcome his own battles, but always made sure to elevate the people he loved. Dave was a devoted family man. Most of us could count of hearing from him daily whether it be just to talk, lend an ear, or put a smile on our faces. No matter what his personal issues were, he made every effort to ensure we knew he was always there and that he loved us. We were blessed with his presence in our lives. Dave's passion for cooking and serving of delicious cuisine was a treat we will all surely miss. He seemed to shine just a little brighter when he was buzzing around a kitchen. We will miss you forever, and forget you, never.
We want to give Dave the memorial he deserves to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of the funeral. We need $10 000 to cover the costs and help the family during this difficult time.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die."
I will never be alone for I am resting in the living arms of Jesus.
This page will be updated when arrangements have been made so those who wish to pay their respects may do so.
Thank you and God bless.
