Camicom's Stage 4 Cancer Battle!

Hey Guys, Camicom checking in! I wish I had better news. I won't go back over the last 5 years at Stage 4, but I'm happy I made my goal. Initially started with colon, then liver, then lung/bone, and now in the last 3 weeks, multiple in my brain. Throughout the last 5 years, I had 3 major surgeries, a 4-month external from my liver, and about 6 bouts of sepsis. Never once have I thought about checking out. This time seems different.

I seizured on the treadmill, woke up in the trauma room, and could only talk gibberish for 12 hours. They did an MRI and saw around 20 tumors, most in the cerebellum, which they are treating with Gamma Knife. The big one is causing the speech and seizure issues, and so far no progress. If the last GK treatment doesn't work, they will open me up. I can't do chemo when this is going on, so I pray the body tumors aren't growing.

I really don't know what else to say, other than this site has probably put me far past my expiration date. I'm not scared, but my concern is for my wife. If I go, I want to make sure she has time to make good decisions.
