Recently David was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, which has no cure and no treatment. David and his wife, Deanna, of 37 years traveled from Biloxi, MS to Houston, TX to seek treatment for CHI St Lukes Health Baylor College of Medicine Center. On October 2nd 2017 the transplant team at St Luke's went before the National Board of Transplants to present his case and they approve him to be placed on the Transplant List. He will need to remain in Houston while waiting for the double lung transplant and for months after to receive care and to assure his body doesn't reject the transplant. David served in the US Air Force for 20 years and retired in 2000. Recently David has had to stop working due to his health rapidly declining and his wife had to quit her job to travel to Houston to be by his side. Funds will help with bills, both everyday and medical along with travel fees. David and his family remain positive and faithful.
