The David Cassidy West Orange Historical Marker is raising funds in order to hold a 2-day event on Wednesday and Thursday July 30-31, 2025. The events of these two days follow the David Cassidy Historical Marker dedicaton at Colgate Park, set for July 30th and the unveiling of David Cassidy Way-- the new co-name for Elm Street where David lived during the early years of his childhood in West Orange. A gala dinner is set for the evening of July 30th. On July 31st events include an afternoon presentation at the West Orange Public Library by world-renowned photographer Henry Diltz and a Woodstock/Hippie themed Downtown Thursdays event that evening of July 31st.
