Dave’s Sponsored Shave

People are going to laugh when they see this, when they see a 21 year old basically already bald fucker doing a sponsored shave but I’m going to tell you why…

For years, ever since I started secondary school, I’ve been bothered about my hair, I was always picked on because of my high hairline, I hated it when I started thinning on top and receding at the age of 16. I wore a hat everyday and was rarely seen without one!

But then I got thinking, I’m lucky, yes I’m going to be bald by the time I’m 25 (cheers dad), BUT I’m not losing it young through struggles with the C word. Cancer.

Approximately 2,300 teenagers and young adults get diagnosed with cancer every year, and on average 65% of those lose their hair due to treatment. And I’m sat here moaning about mine receding naturally!

So, I’m going to embrace it, I’m going to ‘Brave the Shave’, as soon as this justgiving page hits £1000, it’s coming off.
