Dave Wigley raising funds for the British Heart Foundation

Clifton All Whites Football Club President Dave Wigley sadly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Dave who previously held the role of Vice Chairman for many years , was a huge part of Clifton football club and the local community.

A man who cared , who gave so much for nothing other than to see his football club stand as a proud and integral part of the community .

There are so many parts of our club that wouldn’t be there without Dave’s passion , loyalty or determination , the clubhouse itself , the floodlights , even the kit , cleaned dried and delivered for the seniors every week , every match , always to the highest possible standards..

Dave was a man who could never do enough for you , would tell you to your face if he disagreed and felt something was not right , nearly always wearing shorts whatever the weather , always thinking about the club , and he will remain always in our thoughts forever .

Dave’s wife Alison and his daughters Sarah and Emma have chosen the British heart foundation as their chosen charity , if anyone would like to make a donation this is where the welcomed funds will go, Dave had been diagnosed with a heart condition and was awaiting an operation , hopefully funds generated will help anyone in this position in the future .
