Hello,

My name is Tom Norman, and I am coordinating a fundraiser to help our friend and colleague Dave Graham. Dave is known throughout the area, especially in the Cape Harbour Marina community in Cape Coral. Like many Floridians, Dave's home aboard the "Nauti Neli" was lost in the storm.

As one of the newer residents in the marina community, I have gotten to know Dave as a person of great integrity and enormous commitment. I have also seen our community come together in many vital ways in responding to the hurricane. I am grateful to be a part of such a caring group of people who constantly look out for one another. Ian was random in its destruction, and our vessel was spared from most of the devastation. Our friend, Dave's sailboat was not so fortunate.

Dave's sailboat made it through the majority of the storm. However, the final storm surge lifted his boat onto one of the pilings. Shortly after this photo was taken, the piling broke under strain, and his boat quickly sank.

The Nauti-Neli was not only Dave's home but also where he runs his boat maintenance business. Consequently, his home was lost, and his business was devasted.

Dave is a true gentleman. His work helps many people in the area; his extra efforts mean a great deal to the boating community. Dave goes the extra mile for all of us.
