Please Help Dave Durfee and His Loved Ones

With heavy hearts we’re reaching out for help to honor Dave in his time of need.

Loving, hilarious and lighthearted and fun, he has always radiated good times for all to be had. We are so thankful for him and the joy he brings to everyday everything

If you don’t know, a few years ago Dave was diagnosed with COPD & has been dealing with progressive negative symptoms without any clear answers. More recently he has met with a doctor who believed he was misdiagnosed and they have been working to further testing.

Suddenly about a month ago Dave’s breathing difficulties became severe and he was rushed to emergency services and eventually transferred Montefiore in NYC and kept on a ventilator.

During his time there they have determined that Dave was misdiagnosed and has actually been dealing with Lou Gerhig’s Disease. They decided to intubate him to obtain a spinal MRI to assess his condition.

He is now still sedated and awaiting to be awoken to say I love you’s to those closest to him as they remove his life support.

Your help is everything to his family.
