In the last 3 ½ years, The Kwong Family, Dave, Karen, Jared and Ryan, has been hit with one difficult situation after another: Dave was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer) in November 2015; Karen’s mom passed away very unexpectedly in January 2018 and, most recently, Karen was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 2018.
Karen’s diagnosis was the last thing the family ever expected. They are now facing one of the most difficult challenges in their lives, as both Dave and Karen fight their individual cancers.
In their careers, Dave as a physical therapist and Karen as a pediatric oncology nurse, they both dedicate their lives, both personally and professionally, to helping others.
And now, they are the ones in need of help.
Fighting cancer puts a strain on all resources. I'm asking if you could please consider even a small donation to help cover lost incomes and medical bills since BOTH Dave and Karen are not working, so that it may ease the pain and relieve some stress for the family. No amount is too small and the family will truly appreciate any help they receive. Their hearts are already so full from the support and donations that they’ve received. They will never be able to fully express their gratitude.
