On the 27th of April, Jude, Dave and 6 other adventurers will start the La Rende Trek through the mountains of Timor Leste. The trek is over 6 days and we will walk around 100km, summit Mt Ramelau (elevation 2986m) as well as retrace the footsteps of our soldiers who fought a successful campaign agains massive odds during the early years of WW2.

Jude (a RAAF veteran of the 1999 INTERFET operation) and Dave visited Timor Leste in 2023 as part of the Timor Awakening Program for service veterans and vowed to return and learn more about this amazing country and its beautiful people.

The La Rende Trek is going to be a challenge for both Jude and Dave and to help them dig deep in the mountains of Timor Leste, knowing that they are raising funds to support the Timorese people and Australian Service veterans will be a huge motivation.

Both these organisations do such valuable work in their respective areas, and Jude and Dave have witnessed first hand the life-changing difference that these organisations have made to individuals and communities.
