Dave and Char House Remodel
Donation protected
Dave Hibbert passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2021, leaving behind his wife, Char, and three beautiful children. They all loved him more than they can say. It is difficult to adequately describe Dave; he was absolutely one of a kind. A traveler and explorer by heart, he was full of enthusiasm for life. A more genuine, accepting person couldn’t be found. The world was a better place with him in it. He and Char lost a beloved son, Mason, in 2008 in a tragic accident. The knowledge that Dave and Mason are finally reunited has been a source of comfort.
Their family has had many ups and downs over the years. They were not exempt from the financial difficulty that affected so many people in 2008. Personal and financial loss was at times completely overwhelming. Yet they persevered and continued to spread light and kindness to those around them. Char and the kids continue to live in the home they purchased in 2006. Resources for necessary updates and repairs have been difficult to come by.
Our goal is to provide their family with an extensive remodel of their home. Some friends who own home remodeling businesses are donating all the labor involved. The cost for materials is estimated at $60,000. Given all the trials and heartbreak they have endured, we want their home to be a comfortable place where they can continue to heal. Please consider a generous donation in our efforts to provide a small source of relief and joy to such a wonderful family. My name is Gina Seitz and Dave was a dear friend of ours. I will be in charge of collecting the generous donations in order to help with the cost of materials and distribute the funds in order to make this remodel happen. Thank you.
